NCC Report

National Cadet Corps is a National, Non-Commercial, voluntary tri-services organization that is Army, Navy and Air Force. It was born on 16th of April 1948 through NCC Act 31, 1948 in our India with enrolled strength of 13.5 lakh. In our college, it was started in 1972 as Army Wing with the current strength of 107 SD 53 SW total 160 Cadets. It engaged the youths “THE LEADERS OF TOMORROW” into disciplined and patriotic citizens.

In our college every year about 30 Cadets participated in National Level and about 100 Cadets in GP level Camps. SUO Balaraju (Jan. 2008), SUO M N Jaswanth, SUO Dharmaraj (Jan. 2019) and SUO M R Siddaraju (Jan. 2022) attended Republic Day Camp at New Delhi. JUO Antony also attended Basic Leadership Camp held at New Delhi (2000). There are 6 cadets attended National Games Camp conducted by DG NCC New Delhi.

Regularly, it teaches military related syllabi like Foot Drill and Arms Drill, Map Reading, Weapon Training, National Integration, FCBC, Health and hygienic etc.. It also engaged the Cadets in extension activities like Blood Donation, Environmental Awareness, Cycle Jatha, Anti Dowry System, Eye and Body pledge programs. Every year 4-5 Cadets selected for Military service.

  3. Maj. Dr. S Shivaswamy 3-5-1996 to 31-5-2022
  4. C/T. C Mallesha 1-6-2022 Till today

Maj. Dr. S Shivaswamy bagged Karnataka Chief Minister Commendation Card for his valuable service during the year 2013 and DG NCC Commendation Card for outstanding service during 2021.
