About Computer Science Department

Department of computer Sciencewas established in the academic year 1993-1994.The main vision of our department is To prepare rural students as intellectual, professionalðical graduates capable of being meeting challenges in the field of computer science.The Department has well equipped two laboratories with 100 systems,with the facility of advanced equipment,LAN and Internet Facilityand it has good department Library. We are using teaching skillslikeWhite board teaching method,PowerPoint presentation, Studentseminars, Team project works,Group discussion class.

Best practices of the Department

• Offered add-on courses and skill developmentprogramme to the students to make the students more employable.
• Providing information for final year students regarding campus interviews and also motivating to attend.

Future Plan

• To organize need based special Lecturer in every semester
• To organize the state / national level seminars and conferences.
• To start Post Graduation (M.Sc in Computer Science) Course.
• To Start UGC Sponsored Job Oriented Certificate Courses for All stream students.
• To Start IT Industry required certificate courses
• To train students for IT Job Competitive Exams.
